We bring together cottagers, residents, and stakeholders to collaborate, advocate, and celebrate everything that makes our shoreline unique.

The Lake Rosseau North Association (LRNA) is a non-profit organization established in 1982 to represent the interests of approximately 180 lakefront and Village of Rosseau property owners in the North Lake Rosseau and surrounding areas of Seguin and Muskoka Lakes townships.

Our Mission

The Mission of the LRNA is to protect and improve the quality and enjoyment of life in the LRNA community by providing leadership, information, and communication.

How to Support Us

Your support helps strengthen our community. Whether it’s through word of mouth, hands-on volunteer work, or financial contributions, every action counts. Explore all the ways you can help on our Support Us page.

Our Members

The majority of LRNA members own property within the boundaries of Seguin Township and the District of Parry Sound. Some members who own properties to the southeast of the Village of Rosseau fall into the jurisdiction of the Township of Muskoka Lakes and consequently the District of Muskoka. Our members are directly impacted by the Township by-laws, proposals and initiatives. The LRNA is committed to keeping its members informed about significant issues or developments, but encourages members to keep abreast of all activities underway in Seguin Township via www.seguin.ca and in Township of Muskoka Lakes via www.muskokalakes.ca or www.muskoka.on.ca.

LRNA Board of Directors

The LRNA Board of Directors is comprised of between 6-12 members which include a named President, Vice President, and Secretary Treasurer who are elected for a one-year period at an Annual General Meeting held in August. The work of the LRNA Board is conducted via mission-oriented committees with each board member having a direct role in providing leadership through their work on these committees.

If you are looking to become a board member please check out how to volunteer.

Safe Quiet Lakes

The LRNA supports Safe Quiet Lakes whose mission via education, communication and dialogue is to “make the Muskoka lakes safer and quieter to ensure the sustainable enjoyment of a treasured shared resource.” Additional information about the important work of Safe Quiet Lakes can be accessed via safequiet.ca.

Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Association

The Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations (FOCA) represents waterfront communities across Ontario, including us. Through FOCA, the LRNA receives important advocacy support, environmental guidance, and access to programs that benefit our members.
